Mike and I took a weekend road trip to Charleston, SC. Charleston has historic cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and beautiful antebellum houses. The historic French Quarter and Battery districts was so amazing like walking through history. The Battery promenade and Waterfront Park both overlook Charleston Harbor. Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War rang out, lies right across the water. It was an amazing adventure.
