Winter in Ocean City, Maryland

I made a road trip to Ocean City to find out what this beach town was about. Ocean City is a beach town in Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and Isle of Wight Bay. It features miles of beach and a 3 mile wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. Trimper’s Rides is at the end of the boardwalk and is a theme-park attraction that has been there for decades. Ocean City had calendar of events posted all around with upcoming beach concerts and festivals. Ocean City seems like a really fun vacation town.

The statue at Ocean City Beach has been a landmark since 1976. The statue was created by sculptor Peter Wolf Toth. The sculpture was donated as part of his “Trail of the Whispering Giants” project.
