A Day in Bath, Maine

Bath, Maine was the most important U.S. shipbuilding center in the 19th century. Bath is a somewhat industrial town best known for Bath Iron Works which makes large ships, including war ships.

Kennebec Tavern is a waterfront restaurant that serves fresh, local seafood and American fare. We wanted to split the nachos so we got the large appetizer and this was the largest plate of nachos that I've ever seen. Wow!
