Mike and I traveled to Carbondale, Illinois on August 21, 2017 to see the solar eclipse. The eclipse traveled 2,500 miles across the United States from Oregon and crossing 12 states and ending in South Carolina.
The eclipse happen at approximately 1:20 p.m. CDT and lasted for 2 minutes and 38 seconds! It was super cool to be there with the crowds and talk with professional photographers and other people like us that wanted to be a part of a historic moment.
