Bass Harbor Lighthouse

The cliff side Bass Harbor Lighthouse is located in Acadia National Park in the village of Bass Harbor of Tremont, Maine. The lighthouse marks the entrance to Bass Harbor on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island. Construction of the lighthouse was completed in 1858 and is the only lighthouse on Mount Desert Island
