Weekend in Lake Placid, NY and the Adirondack Mountains
New England during fall is really beautiful and the Adirondack Mountains are a must see.

Lake Placid in Upstate New York and it is a quaint, beautiful village with lots of restaurants and shops. The town is full of unique, locally owned stores and restaurants.

It was so awesome to see Olympic Stadium where there have been two Olympic games held.

Lake Placid loves BBQ and there were nearly ten BBQ restaurants on Main Street and we chose to eat at The Pickled Pig across the street from Olympic Stadium. It was so good BBQ.

The beautiful, breathtaking views from the Adirondack Park's mountains and lakes is a must. The impressive fall foliage was stupendous and lakes in the Adirondacks were gorgeous. Lake Placid village is right next to Lake Placid and Mirror Lake and surrounded by mountains. This was a delightful place to visit during fall.

Discovering the beautiful, covered bridges while driving the back roads of Upstate New York was a fun adventure.
