Museum of the American Indians, Washington DC
The National Museum of the American Indian is part of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC and the museum is to help share knowledge and understanding of the Native cultures of the Western Hemisphere during the past, the present, and future.
The museum helps to support the continuance of culture, traditional values, and transitions in contemporary Native life. The National Museum of the American Indian opened on September 21, 2004. It was very educational and moving.
